Dai version of a Buddhist god.

These women live in a city called Yi Zhai Liang Guo, One village two countries.

This parade is full of dancing, singing, and basically doing a whole lot of fun stuff!

This is a Jinpo new years day festival. It happens about a month after Chinese New Year, and a few weeks before Water Splashing Festival (Dai new year). Jinpo people dress in traditional clothes and dance around this structure, which has horns, birds, other animals, and other totems carved into it. Really a fun thing to behold.
